Hi! It could be useful if one has time to sit on computer and can afford to spend hours and hours of his/her time. I am afraid at the moment due to my very busy schedule, I may not find time to use it now.
It could be useful more than to email for example a teacher is taking a class of 30 pupils and if she wants to ask any thing then she will be receiving 30 different emails, however if she using a blog she will find all the replies on the same page. Thus, it saves time!
Hi useful if you teach main stream adults...put up information for learning, not useful for my area of teaching special needs.
ReplyDeletereason not useful because they wont be able to assess and use for learning too complex...

ReplyDeletepoint taken not so useful teaching special needs though
ReplyDeleteThis could be used by the students to aid communication to help each other with assignments and practical catch up.
ReplyDeleteBenefits= Aids communication, fun, can develop postive relationships.
Challenges= not everyone will suit the style of a blog, maybe isolation and the feeling of being left out.
I got here at long last. Blogs can be very useful when students are communicating with each other and when accessing car manufactures technical sites.
ReplyDeleteI think it is useful communicating with your students and for example reminding them the deadline of an assignemnt or may be really anyhing.
